The Premier League is evolving its business strategy to meet its ambition to be the #1 sports competition and a global consumer business. It needed PwC’s expertise across Sports, Data, and AI to understand how to better leverage data and AI to create value, drive competitive advantage, and deliver new revenues.

Benchmarkedleading sports and media organizations to assess market maturity and AI use.Then conducted a detailed assessment
of the Premier League’s data architecture, governance, security, technology,and talent. From this, we created a future-state data
and AI blueprint and developed two proof of concepts demonstrating AI inprocurement and sponsorship ROI.

We delivered two AI proof of concepts in six weeks, showing value in procurement and sponsorship ROI. Ten prioritized AI use cases were projected to generate multimillion-pound value over three years, supported by a clear roadmap and cost plan to build scalable data and AI capabilities aligned with the Premier League’s strategy.
